[9] DEVOTIONALS

The LEARNING CENTER, constructed from the pastoral-teaching ministry and writing of Robert B. Thompson, was created to promote active spiritual growth for those walking on the path of discipleship toward complete obedience to Jesus Christ and the will of God the Father.

There are nine separate areas of the Learning Center for your use. Each one of these areas of study can be entered by clicking on the title of the course found on the left side of this page under the heading "Links to Courses." Some courses begin with Lesson #1 and proceed through a number of continuing lessons.

The nine fields of study include:

[1] The newly developed  Mount Zion School Of The Bible Online examines the Nature of our Redemption, the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Perfecting of the Church using lesson outlines, PowerPoint presentations, SlideShow outlines, Audio tapes, Review Questions, Reading Assignments and Recommended Readings.

[2] User-friendly Interactive Courses developed to assist individuals and groups to come to a clearer understanding of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the Biblical goals of the Christian redemption:

  • A nineteen-lesson Interactive Gospel of the Kingdom Training Course provides short Bible study lessons to define, examine, and review basic concepts related to the Kingdom of God.

  • A fifteen-lesson Interactive Summary Study Series, focused on preparing believers for the return of Jesus Christ, utilizes feedback loops within each lesson to guide the learner through a series of review questions designed to facilitate a concise comprehension of thesis statements excerpted from recently written essays. Periodic review quizzes help the learner to evaluate learning retention.

[3] Teaching Tools which utilize learning objectives, reading assignments, discussion topics, and study questions to create a structured instructional process which is flexible enough to be applied at one’s own individual learning pace.

  • A thirty-lesson tri-level Discipleship Course

  • A five-book Overcomer Study Guide Series

  • A ten-lesson Home Group Bible Study Series

[4] Introductory Instructional books related to the core issues of God's plan of redemption for mankind.

[5] Valuable Reference Works which can assist the learner in becoming more familiar with specific areas of study.

[6] Helpful Indexes for cross-referencing particular concepts found in any number of books covering any one aspect of the Kingdom of God such as discipleship, doctrinal understanding, an orientation to the Kingdom of God, and repentance.

[7] Study Guides to promote greater familiarization with the contribution the Apostle Paul made to the New Testament.  From these study guides one can garner a deeper appreciation for the place righteous behavior has in relation to maturing in Christ and entering the Kingdom of God.

[8] New Testament Gospel of the Kingdom-focused Commentaries to provide insightful analysis and thought provoking consideration.

[9] Lastly, because much of our journey on the path of discipleship takes place "in the wilderness," the place where we learn to lean on God as we are transformed in character and personality, it is important for the disciple to take advantage of every oasis the Lord places before us so that we can hear His quiet, still voice and realize His yoke is easy and His burden is light.  Such renewal is herein made available through inspirational and challenging Daily Devotionals.

May the Lord reward you for your diligent interest in growing more mature as an obedient servant and disciple.
